End User License Agreement
Effective date: April 29, 2026 · Applies to Android installations
This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is between you and BIHM Inc. ("we", "us") and governs your installation and use of the Sentinel Defender mobile application on Android. If you obtained Sentinel Defender from the Apple App Store, the Apple Standard EULA applies in place of this document.
1. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with this EULA and our Terms of Service, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use Sentinel Defender on Android devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
2. Restrictions
You may not, and may not permit any third party to:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the application.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive source code, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits.
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the application.
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices.
- Use the application to develop a competing product or service.
3. Ownership
Sentinel Defender is licensed, not sold. BIHM Inc. and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the application, including all intellectual property rights. This EULA does not transfer ownership of any part of the application to you.
4. Updates
We may release updates, patches, or new versions of the application. Updates may be required to keep using the Service. By installing an update you accept the version of this EULA in effect at the time, which we will make available on this page.
5. Termination
This EULA is effective until terminated by you or by us. Your rights under this EULA terminate automatically and without notice if you fail to comply with its terms. On termination you must uninstall the application and destroy all copies in your possession. Sections 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, and 9 survive termination.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The application is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BIHM Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the application. Our total liability under this EULA will not exceed CAD 100 or the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.
8. Google Play Terms
Your installation and use of the application are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Where this EULA conflicts with mandatory provisions of those terms, those terms control to the extent of the conflict.
9. Governing Law
This EULA is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this EULA will be resolved in the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
